Atlantic Renewable Fuels
We are retrofitting a five-acre substantially developed industrial site in Cumberland County, NJ to commence processing and extraction of fatty oils and greases (FOG-X) from local waste food feedstocks. Located in Bridgeton, New Jersey, we are here and ready to serve a strong and growing market of renewable and advanced biofuels.
Key Highlights
By sourcing local feedstock, and delivering the product to close proximity customers, Atlantic Renewable Fuels has a competitive advantage over large refineries and FOG-X facilities located elsewhere in the country.
We expect that most of the waste produced locally will be delivered to the ARF plant.
Our green solution resonates with the market, especially as additional mandates for renewable fuels and biofuels go into effect.

Industry
Renewable Fuels, biofuels, environmental, transportation, biotechnology, manufacturing, agriculture and farming, science and engineering, sustainability.
Market Size
S44 Billion+ by 2028 (International Agency Association Report).
Target Customer
Large consumers of FOG feedstock, such as refineries, biodiesel and biofuel producers, and agricultural users of FOG.
The problem
Greenhouse gases are a huge burden on our planet, our lives and our health.
We cannot grow as a society and as a species and ensure our long-term viability without alternatives to today’s options. Biofuels are one key to the future, but it’s not readily manufactured. Not everyone who wants it can get it – much like all alternatives, biofuels and other revolutionary sources of energy have yet to get the mainstream support they deserve. This cannot go on any longer. And in Bridgeton, NJ, we intend to change it.
Our Solution
Competitive advantages in the renewable fuels markets
Location
We are located in Southern New Jersey (Bridgeton, Cumberland County), close to Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, and New York City, with Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York food processors and renewable fuel users all within close reach.
ARF’s competitive advantage is driven by proprietary technologies, strategic site locations, and a commitment to sustainability, setting us apart in the renewable fuels market:
- local supply of feedstock
- local offtake of renewable fuels
- densely populated metro area with a strong need to dispose of waste and use renewable fuels
- beneficial pricing on both our feedstock and our products
- strong executive team from the industry
- partnership with Alden Group Renewable Energy (AGRE).
Developed site and facility
Our biggest advantage over the competition is the existence of a substantially developed industrial site:
- five acres of appropriately zoned land
- 11,500 sq. ft. new building already completed
- 7 large tanks are already installed
- all site developments are complete
- a railroad spur is on site.

Strategic partnerships and infrastructure
Our success is strengthened by partnerships across the supply chain. These collaborations ensure a steady supply of feedstock and fortify our distribution capabilities:
- Partnerships with industry leaders to enhance our supply chain and distribution networks.
- Our investments in top-tier infrastructure support our production and logistics efficiency.
- AGRE has designed and operates 2 FOG-X facilities with individual capacity to process 40MM gallons annually of waste oils and greases.
- AGRE shall assist in the design of the ARF facility and oversee the construction.
- AGRE shall manage all daily plant operations, including receiving and processing the feedstock, offloading final products, and all safety and quality controls.
Why We’ll Lead
ARF was built from the ground up to do better.
Before being converted into renewable and sustainable fuels, green diesel and other smaller streams of products, the feedstock is pre-treated to remove all solid contaminants, as well as water. The end result is a thing of beauty — ARF’s production plant will not produce any of its own waste streams! Every component produced has a market for itself, and all are bio products that organically reduce our carbon footprint. You can’t get any greener than that.
We start by relying on feedstock (waste streams), such as used cooking oil, trap grease, and brown and white grease, by truck or rail. These items would normally be disposed of in an environmentally detrimental manner.
When SAF is ready for distribution, it is delivered in a similar manner to the way the waste streams first arrived – via truck or rail.
